This is an exceptionally attractive and compact Antique Oak chest on chest, English and dated about C 1790. An ideal cottage piece for limited headroom.A most delightful chest which has been well maintained and is seen here in superb condition, having a mellow oak colour with a rich patination.
This 8 drawer chest stands on original oak bracket feet, has period handles and a good drawer depth. It's also a rare size, being just 68" high and 39" wide and 22" deep
