Attractive walnut display cabinet. French, circa 1880.This cabinet has been well maintained. In straight grain French Walnut, It is compact with Glass side panels giving extra light and visibility. It's also a very pretty cabinet which could be useful as a bookcase if wanted.
The Plush Silk interior is in excellent condition, possibly the original without the usual deterioration. The four shelves are adjustable and of sensible thickness. Externally, this cabinet is in excellent condition. The finish is good and mellow, the carving is crisp and the entire cabinet retains that important mellow patina.
