Art Deco pedestal deskDating to around the 1930's , this piece is very much of the period with Macassar Ebony banding intricate inlay detailing ebony & ivorine , original silver plated key escutcheons , , original inserts to the top / side slides
This piece can free stand as has faux drawers and detailing to the reverse side , the whole piece can come apart for ease of transportation / delivery
It was suggested that this desk was designed for an architect so plans could be put in the full length pigeon holes
